Questions

Before you register

Do I have to work for a water or wastewater system already?

Yes. Apprentices must be employed by a Montana water or wastewater system and work under a qualified mentor there. The program starts as a job and grows into a career.

What does it cost?

Little to no cost. Apprentices attend an approximately two-year training program through a State Association, and earn while they learn.

Who can I ask about the program?

Cody Marez, our Apprenticeship Coordinator: cmarez@mrws.org or (406) 231-9338.
