Apprenticeship Coordinator and EPA TA and TTA for Decentralized Wastewater

Lynora Rogstad joined Montana Rural Water Systems as the Apprenticeship Coordinator for water and wastewater operator specialists January 1st, 2022. Lynora retired from the City of Helena and has thirty-plus years of water and wastewater administration, finance, program compliance, and operations experience. She holds a Montana Class 1 license in Wastewater and Water Treatment & Water Distribution. Her capacity as a technical assistance provider (TAP) helped Lynora understand the need for skilled operators to replace those retiring and fill new job opportunities as systems expand or new systems are developed. Lynora continues to educate the public on the importance of having certified operators running the water and wastewater systems because it’s all about protecting public health and our environment. Her professional goal is to bring apprentices and employers together for a successful program that satisfies the needs of both. When Lynora is not working, she is out camping in the mountains or playing on the lakes with her family and friends. Her greatest joy is spending time with her 3 grown children, their spouses, and (8) amazing grandchildren.
