Lynora Rogstad joined Montana Rural Water Systems as the Apprenticeship Coordinator for water and wastewater operators. Lynora retired from the City of Helena and brings thirty-plus years of water and wastewater administration, program compliance, and operations participation, and holds a Class 1 license in Wastewater and Water Treatment & Distribution. Her past experiences as a technical assistance provider helped Lynora understand the need to have skilled operators to replace those retiring, fill new job opportunities as systems expand, or new systems are being developed. She wants the opportunity to educate the public on the importance of having certified operators running the water and wastewater systems because it is a public health and safety concern. Her professional goal is to bring apprentices and sponsors together for a successful program that satisfies the needs of both. When Lynora is not working, she is out camping in the mountains or playing on the lakes with her family and friends. Her greatest joy is spending time with her (8) amazing grandchildren.
