Certified Water/Wastewater Operator for Town of Chester
The Town of Chester is seeking to fill one full-time position; Certified Water/Wastewater Operator, or General Laborer who is willing to get certified. Certification as Water/Wastewater Operator must include; Montana Class 3A Water Distribution Certification; Montana Class 1B Water Treatment Plant Certification; Montana Class 4C Wastewater Certification; or the willingness to obtain these certifications within a two-year period; must obtain first license within the six-month probation period. Must have a High school diploma or equivalent, a valid Montana driver’s license with clean driving record, and a Montana CDL, Endorsement Type 2, Class B(or be able to obtain one).
Duties for the position include but are not limited to: Unskilled, skilled, technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of the Town’s water and wastewater treatment and distribution facilities; perform all necessary work relating to solid waste management, streets, parks, pest and animal control.
Salary is DOE and a $.50 increase will be given for each license obtained
