Montana Rural Water is honored to have Lisa Boettcher host this informative webinar.

Mrs. Lisa Boettcher holds a B.S. degree in Geology with a minor in Mathematics and M.S. degree in Geology and Geological Engineering. She is a Licensed Professional Geologist (Idaho). Mrs. Boettcher’s career of over 30 years includes managing environmental projects, various types of permitting, hydrogeological investigations, site remediation and reclamation, environmental regulation and regulatory negotiations, and preparing environmental impact statements and assessments. She provides professional training and technical assistance consulting services.

 

This session provides a practical summary of the occurrence of groundwater, basic groundwater terminology and concepts, and a description of the main Montana aquifers’ geology, water quality and quantity. We will also discuss supply well performance monitoring and record-keeping, and common problems affecting well performance and reducing supply. Use of nutrient tracking tool for both drinking water and wastewater will be discussed.
