What is MTWARN: The Montana Water and Wastewater Agency Response Network (MTWARN) is hosting a free U.S. EPA-sponsored seminar and tabletop exercise (TTX) event. The seminar, which can accommodate virtual participation, will include a MTWARN overview, as well as presentations regarding county and state emergency preparedness. The TTX will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss emergency response to a hypothetical incident affecting water and wastewater systems. The purpose of MTWARN is to promote statewide emergency preparedness, disaster response, and mutual assistance for public and
private water and wastewater utilities in the form of equipment, materials, and other associated services. Visit https://montanawarn.wordpress.com/ for more information about the mutual aid network.

Who Should Participate: This event is open to representatives from all Montana water and wastewater systems and their response partners as an opportunity to discuss communication and coordination during an incident and to learn more about MTWARN and water sector mutual aid.

Continuing Education Credits (CECs): Montana water and wastewater operators will earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for their participation in the event.
