County Water District, Billings Heights

A series of lectures followed by guided exercises in a wet lab will provide understanding of field-testing methods on 4 backflow prevention assemblies: pressure vacuum breakers, spill resistant vacuum breakers, reduced pressure principle assemblies, and double check assemblies. Students will gain knowledge in hydraulics, backflow and back siphonage, types of cross connections, and degrees of hazard and state and federal regulations. Friday afternoon participants can take a written exam and on Saturday morning can take a practical exam administered by the American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA). Passing scores on both the exams will result in certification by ABPA as a backflow prevention assembly tester. Hello, I am interested in your “backflow assembly testers course” offered Sept. 29th in Billings. A Couple questions, how much does it cost? Do you earn any CEC’s towards an existing water operator license. Are you offering any of these courses closer to Big Sky, Mt this winter or spring? Any and all information would be appreciated.

There is a registration form on our website under “Training Calander” The price and how to register is on that from.
As for CEC’s there is up to 3.6 for water & wastewater operators.
