Highwood County Water and Sewer District is seeking a part-time water operator to start employment ASAP. This person needs to be detail oriented, located close to Highwood, willing to be on call for emergencies, and have good communication skills. An operator’s license isn’t required to start but must be obtained at the cost of the district. Duties include, but are not limited to, daily chlorine testing, monthly samples sent to Energy Labs, status checks on well heads and water tower, monthly report to HCWSD board of directors, and various annual testing. No plumbing or electrical experience required but would be a bonus. This job is part-time and pay will be dependent on experience.
