AWIA – America’s Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 – currently requires community water systems serving 3,300 or more persons to conduct vulnerability assessment and develop an emergency response plan (ERP).  This plan must be actively updated every five years. It’s anticipated that eventually even the very small systems will be required to do this.

It’s a good thing for every system to have an emergency response plan.  Kristi Kline and the Lewis & Clark County Health office will lead us through an assessment and ERP to help all systems understand their risks and how resilient they are.
