Water Treatment Plant Operator Tetra Tech is a multi-disciplinary firm of consulting environmental scientists and engineers with offices throughout the United States. We are seeking a water treatment plant operator to join our Helena office and become an integral member of our team. The position will be responsible for day-to-day operation of a reverse osmosis water treatment plant at a remote mountain location. Previous experience with water treatment plant operation is desired and experience with a reverse osmosis system is a plus. Successful candidate will be self motivated, able to work independently, mechanically inclined and have fundamental computer skills. Position will be needed from late May to mid-October with the potential to continue based on other project needs. Responsibilities: Track water treatment plant operations using remote software, maintain chemical reagent levels, track system operation metrics and identify and address problems. Work with reverse osmosis specialist to optimize system performance and address operational problems. Replace equipment, piping, meters etc as needed to maintain system. Experience: Operation and maintenance of water treatment systems desired, experience with reverse osmosis a plus.
